The Safety Council of Southwest Louisiana held a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the start of construction on their new facility on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. The ceremony was attended by local business leaders, politicians, industrial site leadership, contractors, and chamber representatives.

The Safety Council of Southwest Louisiana’s annual Contractor Safety Performance Awards Banquet took place on Thursday, July 18th, 2024, at the West-Cal Arena and Events Center. This annual celebration recognizes the industry’s dedication to developing and achieving a strong safety culture among contractors and the industries they support.

The Safety Council of Southwest Louisiana (SCSWLA) is pleased to announce plans for the
construction of a new facility in Sulphur, Louisiana. The facility will be located on their current property but will
front to N. Cities Service Highway. It will be accessible from both N. Cities Service Highway and E. Napoleon
Street.
